Helping a friend in need is always a great feeling. Using telematics to help a friend locate their stolen vehicle, however, gives one a whole new level of pride. Earlier this week the Sawatch team was able to help one of our friends recover his truck after someone drove off with it in the middle of the night. Fortunately for Marcus his truck was equipped with a telematics device which allowed us to follow the thief’s route and determine the final destination. Marcus and his truck were soon reunited.

In 2020, the United States experienced a sharp increase in vehicle theft, and the trend is continuing in 2021. Thankfully, Marcus quickly located his vehicle so he didn’t have to spend hours stressing over the theft he experienced.
